Biblical languages are essential to interpret Scripture.
A working knowledge of biblical languages (Hebrew and Greek,) helps the student in understanding the biblical text properly. The relationship between culture and language will open a new path in worldview to internalize the things that the ancient Hebrews did or said. The more we dig into their culture the more we will be able to capture what the original authors really meant.
SBLC - The School of Biblical Language Courses was established in 2017 by Prof. Rev. Ch. Shadrack, M.A., B.D., M.Th.(Old Testament). SBLC provides a platform for Pastors, Teachers and Believers to learn and study the Biblical Original Languages in Preliminary and Advanced courses
The aim of SBLC is to equip the people with basic skills to read and understand the Bible in original languages in translating and interpreting the scriptures in a proper way.
SBLC Hebrew Language Courses were conducted offline at YMCA, Secunderabad, but during the pandemic online classes through Zoom.
SBLC - The School of Biblical Language Courses exists to fulfill the God’s Vision and Mission in equipping Pastors,
Teachers and all Believers to study and understand the Bible in its original languages.
Our vision is to equip the people to read and understand the Bible in its original language and scriptures in a systematic study to discover the original and intended meaning.
Our Mission is to educate people to learn Hebrew the Biblical Original Language in a methodical way to prepare themselves to confirm their calling by submission to God’s ministry and be effective in Teaching and Preaching.
SBLC enables people to discover the deep insights of scriptures from the original root words. (I Tim. 3: 14-15).
SBLC offers these courses at a very reasonable fee structure and at the student’s convenient time and place.

Prof. Rev. Ch. Shadrack is an Ordained Pastor from Baptist Mission. He was born and brought up in a Christian family. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his personal savior while pursuing his graduation and actively involved in ministry with Union of Evangelical Students of India. He was confirmed with God’s calling for Church Planting.
Prof. Rev.Ch. Shadrack has completed his Master’s Degree (M.A) from Osmania University, Hyderabad, Telangana and did his Theological studies Bachelor of Divinity (BD) and Master of Theology (M.Th) Old Testament from Senate of Serampore College (University), India.
He served as a Pastor in different Baptist Churches in Telangana for more than a decade. Now he is serving the Lord through “Preaching and Teaching Ministry”. He is teaching at Church of Cross Theological College, Hyderabad, affiliated to Senate of Serampore College (University), and conducting offline Hebrew Language Course at YMCA, Secunderabad and online through zoom. His wife Prof. Rev. Ch. Helen Salomy is a faculty member at Andhra Christian Theological College, Gandhinagar, Hyderabad. She teaches New Testament and Greek.Their son Ch. Jerome Elliot Joshua is pursuing his Bachelor of Science.

The course material is structured to cover the entire classical biblical grammar.

- Weekend classes on Saturday
- Classes are conducted in Telugu and English medium
- The course material will be provided at the time of Registration
Duration of each course is 48 hours (4 credit hours). Each class will be for two hours. Each batch will be completed in two and a half months and weekend batch in four months.

Since the Bible was written originally in Hebrew and Greek, One should have some basic knowledge of the words and grammar of these ancient languages. SBLC - The School of Biblical Language Courses gives immense opportunities in gaining extensive knowledge for laymen where many other seminaries don't do.
SBLC encourages one to think that the study of biblical languages is not difficult and time consuming but surely it is the foundation stone to do proper exegesis and interpretation. Learning the biblical languages in a systematic way will help in understanding the word of God in a deeper way which helps in effective teaching and preaching. To avoid improper or wrong exegesis of original languages SBLC supports Pastors, Teachers and Believers to have adequate study. The core purpose of SBLC is to provide an easy access in understanding and proclaiming the right word in the right manner.
